English Hip-Hop Star MF Doom Dies Aged 49

Renowned British rapper Daniel Dumile aka MF Doom died at the age of 49.

MF Doom wife Jasmine confirmed the news about his death in a post on Doom’s Instagram account.

MF Doom was known for his unique style and his performances, as he was always seen in a mask. He was a rapper, songwriter, and record producer. She mentioned in a note, “the greatest husband, father, teacher, student, business partner, lover and friend I could ever ask for”.

About MF Doom

Mr. Doom performed in the hip-hop group KMD as a teenager. In 1997, he emerged at open mic events.

After some time, he began wearing a mask during his performances based on Doctor Doom, a Marvel supervillain.

He has released 6 solo albums. He also collaborated with musicians such as Danger Mouse and Ghostface Killah. Moreover, he also appeared on BBC Radio 4 and Radio 1.
